2007:

An abandoned ruin next to a park on Eastbank is being transformed into a vibrant meeting place. The ARP has tasked the Raw Foundation with this project.  Raw, based in the Netherlands, is a group of hands-on architects/builders/designers with a desire to build and construct where its needed. The use of recycled, salvaged, found and donated materials, from varying sources, and an environmental awareness are the driving forces behind this organisation's approach to building.
