2008 Greening Challenge - Extension 7

Launched in March 2007, the Extension 7 Greening Challenge culminated with a closing ceremony and prize giving held in Ext 7 on 10th July 2008. The Greening Challenge forms part of the ARP's focus on environmental improvement through community participation. Sponsored by ABSA and the National Department of Housing, the competition also receives valuable input from other state organisations such as the Departments of Environmental Affairs & Tourism and Water Affairs & Forestry, as well as City Parks, which donated trees.
