This bridge crosses the Jukskei river, extending Florence Moposho road (formally Vasco da Gama road) and linking the Northern parts of Alexandra to the Far East bank and Ext 5 - 8 housing developments.

November. Work on the bridge itself is restarted and it is currently being tarred. So far 130 households have been relocated, however a further 340 families are still in the path of the access road linking the bridge to Vasco Road.

2008:

February. With most of the outstanding households moved to new homes as they became available in Ext 7, the final stages of the building of the bridge are being reached.
