Alex's Sheffield United victorious
On Saturday 24 May 2008, Alexandra-based Sheffield
United's First 11 took on Wits University at Marks Park. The team arrived in good
time to warm up with their coaches for the 3:30pm match.
Our players quickly found their stride and the Wits team could feel
the arrival of Sheffield United. By half-time Sheffield was leading
1-0. By the end of the game Sheffield United had added 3 more goals in
the second half to win the game by 4-0.
