Inviting public comment...

 

The ARP is proposing to develop a link between South Road via Lilium Road (in Marlboro Gardens) and Fourth Avenue with London Road and further south with Canning Road. The link will allow for the improvement of the overall north-south movement through Alexandra as well as functionally linking Alexandra into the wider regional economy.

An Environmental Impact Assessment as well as a Socio-Economic Report and Traffic Impact Study has been undertaken for the proposed project. These document are now being lodged for public comment from 13 November 2006 until 13 December 2006.

All comments must be received by 13 December 2006. After which time the public comments will be incorporated into the report and submitted to the Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Environment (GDACE) for review. All comments can be submitted via the comment sheet to:
